I am a Creative Writing MFA student at Chapman University where I also received an MA in English. For my thesis, I created a digital environmental humanities project that looked at how viral hoaxes serve as both a coping mechanism for and distraction from environmental degradation. I also teach the English composition course Writing About the Environment in which all the students collaborate to create multimodal environmentally-engaged projects that will be shared online.
