About
I am a Digital Humanities Consultant with
in Duke University Libraries living on the unceded lands of the
Occaneechi Band of the Saponi Nation. At Duke, I consult and
collaborate with staff, students, and faculty on a range of digital humanities topics. Particular areas of expertise include
- digital publishing platforms;
- 2D & 3D image presentation and analysis;
- gathering, structuring, and analyzing historical and archival data;
- developing community-driven and environmental projects and research approaches; and
- digital humanities pedagogy.
Much of this expertise comes from my ten years as Digital Humanities Specialist with
Duke’s Digital Art History & Visual Culture Research Lab. I also
teach topics in digital humanities (DH); conduct research in and
write about digital pedagogy, project management, and DH praxis.
