I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the American Studies department at Saint Louis University. My areas of interest include urban studies, social movements of the 1960s, and women’s and gender studies, all with an emphasis on popular culture. One day I hope to take my work outside of the ivory tower and empower others to see the world in a new way. That may be a naïve dream, but here’s to trying!
