My research explores the “cyborg university,” or the politics, practice, and history of digital technology within higher education. I am currently socializing a dissertation on these topics in solicitation of public peer review. 

In my role at UC San Diego, I help facilitate digital scholarship initiatives, and serve as project director of KNIT, a digital commons for UC San Diego powered by Commons in a Box. 

I am a proud product of The CUNY Graduate Center Digital Fellows program.
