She is working as a Teaching Assistant and conducting Language Lab classes and working on Partition writings by Muslim women for her Ph.D. thesis under the supervision of Dr. Sukhdev Singh. Her research interests include Memory Studies, Spatial Studies, Popular Culture, and Partition Writings.Owing to her interest in Partition narratives, Sana has also worked as a Summer Intern for Partition Museum, Amritsar (2018) where she collected oral narratives from Partition survivors in Bihar and researched how the partition changed the contours of the city of Patna.Sana writes poem in English, Hindi and Urdu. She was the featured poet in October 2016 edition of Ashvamegh. Some of her poems have been published in the Spring 2017 edition of BlazeVox .
