Rosemary G. Feal is Executive Director Emerita of the Modern Language Association, which she led from 2002 to 2017. She is the Wilbur Marvin Visiting Scholar at the David Rockefeller Center at Harvard University. She was the Mary L. Cornille Visiting Distinguished Professor in the Humanities at Wellesley College in 201718 and is Professor Emerita of Spanish at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York. She co-edits the SUNY Series in Latin American and Iberian Thought and Culture and is an associate editor of the Afro-Hispanic Review. She also served as senior consulting editor of the Latin American Literary Review. Her books include Isabel Allende TodayPainting on the Page: Interartistic Approaches to Modern Hispanic Texts; and Novel Lives: The Fictional Autobiographies of Guillermo Cabrera Infante and Mario Vargas Llosa.
