    I am working on a post-doctoral project called The Power Balance between the Mediterranean and the Silk Road: a Political and Economic Reappraisal of the Persian Empire during the 6th and the 7th centuries (in Portuguese). This research – a reassessment of the Persian role in maintaining a certain status quo between East and West – will be developed at Universidade Federal do Paraná, Curitiba, Brazil.
