Mariah Postlewait is a doctoral student in Art History at Binghamton University in Binghamton, NY.  Her research centers around themes of representation, identity, and systems of power in postwar photography.  Postlewait was the gallery director at Adrian College in Adrian, MI after earning her MA in Art History from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH. She is the president of the Art History Graduate Student Union at Binghamton University.
