About

Michael is the Digital Projects Officer for the Digital Humanities Research Hub at the School of Advanced Study, University of London. He provides project, research and administrative support to academics, research software engineers, and PhD students across the Hub. Michael’s academic research focuses on the ways people organize themselves to produce knowledge and culture. He recently completed an MSc in Digital Humanities at UCL and his research interests include natural language processing, social network analysis, digital history, and structured humanities data. Previously, he studied history and theatre and performance studies at Georgetown University. He has supported research on knowledge creation in a number of fields, including the history of science, religious history, and the performing arts.
