I teach sociology at Ursinus College, a small liberal arts college in the Philly suburbs, where I’m also affiliated with the environmental studies department. I teach Animals & Society, Thinking Sociologically, Environmental Justice, and a number of other courses. My research sits at the intersection of two interdisciplinary fields: animal studies and the environmental humanities. Before graduate school I practiced environmental law.
