    James is an Assistant Professor of Literature and Languages at Christian Brothers University whose interests include medieval literature/history, digital humanities, data science, and text technology. Hi research applies mixed methods to evaluate a collection of 13th-century petitions to Edward I, focusing on the collection’s physical/material and digital iterations. He holds a B.A. in English Literature from Albright College, an M.A. in Medieval English Literature from the University of Leeds, a Ph.D. in Communication, Rhetoric, and Digital Media from North Carolina State University. He currently working on a M.S. in Data Science with a concentration in bioinformatics at Christian Brothers University.
