AboutI am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Neukom Institute for Computational Science at Dartmouth College, and I’m affiliated with the Dept. of English as well as the Gender Research Institute. I earned my Ph.D. in Romantic-era literature at the University of Colorado Boulder. My research interests include literature of the long 18th century, Digital Humanities, women’s writing, media history, and romanticism. I have published essays on Jane Austen’s Mansfield Park, Rodolphe Töpffer’s earliest comic strips, markup languages, and book history.
I direct the Stainforth Library of Women’s Writing, a DH project that when complete will offer open access to an electronic version of Francis Stainforth’s library, which was the largest Anglophone private library of women’s writing collected in the 19th century. The editorial team is comprised of researchers, staff, and students at Dartmouth College as well as the University of Colorado Boulder. I am also an active board member and webmistress for the British Women Writers Association.
