About
I am Irish historian of religion. My main research area is religion and identity, especially the various ways in which religion has shaped the writing of Irish history. I also have an interest in university history, early-modern religious controversy, and the history of Irish puritanism. Education
I did my undergraduate degree at Trinity College Dublin, where my tutor was Helga Robinson-Hammerstein, and my PhD at the University of Cambridge, under the supervision of Brendan Bradshaw. Work Shared in CORE
