Ben Jackson is an archivist currently serving as manager of Special Collections in Performing Arts (SCPA) at the University of Maryland, College Park. Centering on outreach and education, Ben takes a broad approach to make archival collections more widely known and usable.

Most recently, this has included the digital exhibition Persistent Vision: The Punk Collections at the University of Maryland which serves to make available and contextualize over 1,000 digitized fliers, zines, photographs, and recordings documenting the development and flourishing of the D.C. punk scene from the late 1970s to the present.
