About
I am an education-track member of staff in the Department of Classics & Ancient History in the University of Durham, teaching classical Greek and Latin language & literature and the history of writing. Previously I have held a Research Fellowship at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, and a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship at the British School at Athens. My research is on the Linear B writing system from Late Bronze Age Greece (c.1400-1200 BCE), focusing particularly on reconstructing the history of the writing system and the activities of its writers within the Mycenaean palatial administrations.
