About

I am a current English PhD student at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. My research primarily focuses on annotated, nineteenth-century American cookbooks and domestic manuals. In my work, I primarily use Digital Humanities methods such as text analysis in combination with archival work. I currently am working on developing a digital archive of annotated, nineteenth-century recipes.

Some of my most recent work can be read in Going the Rounds: Virality in Nineteenth-Century American Newspapers available in draft form at https://manifold.umn.edu/projects/going-the-rounds
