    Abstract:
The sporadic increase in the rate of vulnerability among Indian children is largely attributed to the surge of HIV/AIDS among others where many children have been orphaned. The number of children that will be orphaned or made vulnerable due to HIV/AIDS is predicted to rise, increasing the vulnerabilities already experienced by children due to increasing poverty in India. There is a direct need for effective legislation that would cater to the present and future hardships presented or likely escalate in the coming days.
