    Abstract:
    In a time when we all are burdened by the woes of the pandemic and world news, perhaps it is the right moment to teleport ourselves to lands of sunshine and beauty by vicariously revisiting past travel experiences through art. June Julian compiled a visual record of her multiple trips to the Cádiz area in Spain In her numerous sketchbooks, watercolors and canvasses, Visit scenes from the hidden corners of the Pueblos Blancos like Vejer de la Frontera, and the wide vistas of the beautiful beaches of the Costa de la Luz: Conil de la Frontera, Zahara de las Atunes, and Los Canos de Meca.
    Notes:
    Contains thirteen images of original paintings of Andalucia, including views of Ceuta and Morocco from the sea, Flamenco dancer portraits, and an inventory of works. Also included is a critique of the exhibit, "Acuarelas y Oleos", Fundacion Alcalde Ruiz-Mateos, Sala de Exposiciones July 1993 - Rota Spain, by Jose M. Moreno Carrascal.
