    Abstract:
    Heavenly Father is not only the Lord of the universe, but He is also the Lord of time. When he assigns a mission to a person, he also provides him with enough time to fulfill it within the given deadline. And if his faithful servant needed it badly, the Lord God would also stop the course of the sun in the sky - Joshua 10-13: „13 And the sun stood still, and the moon halted, until the people had taken vengeance on their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of the Just? The sun stood still in the middle of the sky and delayed its setting for almost a whole day.“ But our Lord God can not only extend time, but also shorten it - Matthew 24-22: „22 And if that time had not been shortened, no human being would have survived; but shortened that time shall be, for the sake of those who are chosen.“ The most moving story of the shortening of the days by our Heavenly Father is described in his work by Maria Valtorta: „... Tell Me, if I should pray very hard, so hard, day and night, night and day, and I wanted to belong only to God, for all My life, for this purpose, would the Eternal Father grant Me the grace of sending the Messiah to His people sooner? » « I do not know, my dear. The Prophet states: “Seventy weeks”. I do not think a prophecy can be wrong. But the Lord is so good » she hastens to add, seeing tears appear on the fair eyelashes of her child, « the Lord is so good that I believe that if You do pray very hard, so hard, He will hear Your prayer. » And when the Heavenly Father listened to the two-year-old Virgin Mary confide in her mother, could he refuse her desire? No, he couldn't, and he fulfilled the Virgin Mary's life's desire with great love and joy. This story, the truest of all true stories, tells us how the Heavenly Father in his omnipotence did it.
    Notes:
    Heavenly Father also has a sense of humor. When he announces his prophecies, he leaves ample room for human imagination; like when a teacher asks students a question and receives unexpected and smiling answers. I hope that even this explanation of Daniel's prophecy will bring a smile to the Divine face of our Savior.
