- The post-Cold War Era has seen several twists and turns, the first of which was the fall of the Berlin Wall, followed by the events of September 11, and then the economic crisis of 2008, then the global pandemic and the subsequent collapse of the economies of the largest countries. Despite that, the United States of America remained the dominant and dominant in international politics, as it is, according to Kissinger, the only actor always.
