• ابهام زدایی از نقد نوپای تاریخ گرایی نو در ایران با نگاهی به پژوهش های انجام شده (Demystifying New Historicism through a Critical Look at the Papers Applying the Approach in Iran)

    Abstract:
    As an approach to the relationship between literature and history, new historicism has been well received in Iranian academia. This reception was concomitant with some misunderstandings. A part of the problem is the result of the elusive nature of the approach. Moreover, lack of theoretical works in Iran has led to serious problems. Even though this approach is not a very recent one, it is a novelty in Iran. One of the reasons behind this novelty is lack of sufficient theoretical source in the field. A glance on the practice of new historicism reveals that the keen interest in the field and the lack of sufficient theoretical source has led to some misunderstandings. The present paper tries to correct some of the misunderstandings surrounding this approach. Keywords: New Historicism, History, Literature, Pathology, Power, Discourse, Greenblatt, Foucault """"""" اریخ‌گرایی نو به عنوان رویکردی که به ادبیات و تاریخ از منظری نو نگریسته و به رابطۀ متقابل تاریخ و ادبیات توجّه می‌کند تاکنون مورد استقبال گسترده‌ای قرار گرفته‌است، هرچند این استقبال با ابهامات و گاه کج‌فهمی‌هایی نسبت به اصول این رویکرد نیز همراه بوده‌است. از زمان پیدایش این رویکرد در دهۀ هشتاد میلادی تا به امروز برداشت‌های گوناگون و گاه متناقضی از این رویکرد عرضه شده و به نوعی می‌توان گفت هرکسی از ظنّ خود یار این رویکرد شده‌است. بخشی از این برداشت‌های متناقض به ماهیّت چارچوب‌گریز این رویکرد و خلاصه نشدن آن در قالب یک روش و اسلوب علمی مشخّص برمی‌گردد. مشکلات یاد شده که از ماهیّت این رویکرد ناشی می‌شود به علاوۀ کمبود منابع نظری فارسی، شناخت درست این رویکرد را در کشور ما با دشواری دو چندانی روبه‌رو ساخته‌است. با وجود گذشت سه دهه از پیدایش این رویکرد، تنها چند سال است که در ایران شاهد پژوهش‌های جدّی در این حوزه هستیم. نگاهی به این پژوهش‌ها، که غالباً کاربردی هستند، ضعف‌هایی جدّی را آشکار می‌سازد که از عدم درک صحیح رویکرد ناشی شده است. نوشتار پیش‌رو ضمن بررسی این ضعف‌ها، به ارائۀ راهکارهایی در جهت شناخت دقیق‌تر این رویکرد می‌پردازد."
