    Abstract:
    Edition of Estêvão Lopes Morago's (c.1575-c.1630) five-voice setting (SSATB) of the Jesu Redemptor. The work is entitled "Deprecatio pro defunctis. 5.voc,". It is extant in one of the two main sources for Morago's music, the "Livro da Coresma" (Ms 3) now preserved in Viseu Districtal Archive (P-Va). It is one of the three settings of Jesu Redemptor (one for four voices, the other for double choir) present in P-Va Ms 3.
